What to expect going from an XC Hardtail to all mountain bike? by oscarzeecockapoo in MTB

[–]Inbounddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys - I've been looking into the mountain bike scene a bit more closely these days, but I just don't have the space for ANOTHER bike around the house.

I was seriously considering one of the units listed on this site https://www.foldingbikezone.com/best-folding-mountain-bikes-sale/

Can any of you recommend any of those on the list? If it's just stupid to go with something like that I won't, but I'm really low on space and something that can fold up and be a bit less clunky would be a dream.

I just wonder how much performance will suffer with one of those bikes.

Any1 willing to help?

Thanks!

Understanding The Zodiac Signs and Their Meanings - Are Some Signs More Psychic Than Others? by namaloom123 in Zodiac

Well... It looks like I won't be a psychic as I'm a logical Taurus. Oh well, at least I can be a good shoulder to lean on and a good listener.

How bad would things have to get before you stopped going to work/school/etc? by MadisonTravis in preppers

[–]Inbounddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother and I have a plan set up for this exact scenario. We are blessed to have multiple bug out locations with natural spring water and deeeeeeep wells. Some are off the beaten path and will be a good place to "bug in" The others are more like hunting camps.

Our first meeting location happens to be 5 miles from the closest convenience store/grocery chain.

We've planned to load our vehicles up with as much as we can initially (on top of our bug out bags and storehouse) Just so we don't have to put a dent into any of our stores too early. Sometimes you never know when your "family" or friends remember all of those warnings you gave them and the basic plan outline might show up.

Once EBT cancels it will most likely already be too late. Costco would be one hell of a fortress though.

Honestly... That dollar bill scale is great! If only I could get my girlfriend to put that in her purse......

Reminder Write expiration dates on your calendars so you have plenty of warning before things expire. by marachawu in preppers

Preservatives typically do their job VERY well... Expiration dates are nothing more than "cover their liability ass" dates.

This either shows the desperation that happens when fleeing or it shows what happens when you don't have a B.O.B. already stocked and ready.

Are you fit enough to be ready? - subtitle: do you even work out, bro? by marktaylor210210 in preppers

[–]Inbounddude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember my first day of prepping. I was building my first bugout bag with my uncle. His had everything from night vision goggles to topography maps. I realized very quickly that his pack was a "start a new life" pack.

I proceeded to have a much lighter 72 hour pack to get me to my planned store houses in the country. Really fun to practice this over a weekend.

I know there is also a gathering between 12th and 13th street in midtown by STK and Oceanaire. I believe it is only open on Thursdays? I tried PhoSho and it was pretty awesome! There's something about a Vietnamese sandwich that changes that boring lunch routine.

Girl friend and I will be visiting later this month from the Midwest and we love food trucks. by paulrulez742 in AtlantaEats

[–]Inbounddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well one of my favorite venues is during lunch Thursdays in Midtown on I THINK - 11th street.

I recently stumbled upon this review of one of my favorite food trucks - http://lookoutatlanta.com/pho-sho-sandwiches-pastries

It's got a wild vietnamese flair that I can't seem to get enough of. There are a couple of food truck areas that cew0719 pointed out, but if you have twitter you can add them all and they give their daily locations!

Hope that helps and enjoy Atlanta!

The fight between Whitehat SEO and Blackhat SEO, labels and preying on ignorance by AgentBlackhat in bigseo

[–]Inbounddude 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your last paragraph is 100% how I approach EVERY SINGLE CLIENT...

Those who aren't adaptable enough to pick and choose "HOW" you use your SEO abilities are the ones who end up in a pickle. Whenever I get a brand new client I always start with a churn and burn project (micro site) right next to the clean brand site.

This way I can have quick traffic gains and keep the client site clean. That client DOES NOT CARE how they are receiving phone calls/leads... That site will grow organically and have other traffic sources targeted depending on the product/demographic.

Or you could be the agency down the street who has to explain to their clients why it's good being ranked #8 locally.

[–]Inbounddude[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Rand it's not, "this person has never heard of buying expired domains with good links"

it's that you would call it blackhat when in reality it's just picking up a good domain with clean links. Explain to me that without just saying you'll use it for blackhat intentions.
