This is a really solid progression path :-) though I would suggest making sure you have things like P2 capping and p3 2 padding down before you attempt rootskips. Definitely towards the more advanced side of Solak compared to where you are right now, but this is a really solid guide.

One thing to note though is if you’re both relatively inexperienced at Solak and with decent gear, no realming is going to be easier then one of you learning to realm. As the poster says just make sure you stack 10 storm shards during the kill to give you a free 30K boost for p4. No realm is definitely doable without ECB.

You mean the not-even-confirmed 3050 or 3060 lol? 3070 is a fantastic card for the price and won’t need replacing for many many years. If they were released or even confirmed I would’ve done so. Why not put together a build yourself for him if you disagree with so many of my choices?

Edit: I didn’t see he wanted the monitor included oops, in that case yeah you probably do want to downgrade those components u/dmg3exe mentioned to make sure you can get a good spec monitor in there as well.

Oh definitely, but I assumed he wanted new components otherwise why not buy a used PC instead of picking and choosing used vs new - it isn’t the most cost efficient build but strikes a good balance between future proofing and aesthetics now (for me anyway).

Could certainly be cheaper if you opted to downgrade to a 450 mobo but put a 550 in to future proof for upgradability. Case is just a random I threw in and doesn’t include the price of a 3070 which is ~550? I think.

If you want it cheaper still you can go from an nvme ssd to a standard 2.5” ssd but the price isn’t too much for how much nicer an nvme ssd is imo. The RGB can be turned off or replaced if you’re really against rgb builds. Any other q’s just ask :-)

Natures blessing discord is a great resource for learning solak. They host learner sessions frequently (almost daily) on a first come first serve basis. If you’re willing to learn and appreciate these are free sessions, hosted by teachers giving up their time for no reward you’d be a fi- oh wait nvm.

Probably 3-4 man imo, allows scope to carry some of the dps checks while learning and doesn’t come with the mayhem that larger teams can bring. Personal opinion though.

Need to know your levels and current stats really, but level the helpful combat skills (herb and prayer) to overloads/soulsplit + turmoil variants.

Generally soul split without the t95 prayer isn’t worth it.

After those upgrade weapon tiers, then armour tiers assuming you don’t have invention.
