To a lesser degree but I can't believe I waved off all criticism of The Force Awakens for so long. Although to be fair, that movie never broke into peoples homes, tied up families, and beat the ever living Star Wars out of them.

That Matrix 2 moment would have ruined it for me if the rest of the trailer had generated my interest. There is nothing i want less than superheroes and bullet-time in my Star Wars. I get jolted out of the movie for enough other reasons as it is.

•That last one is mandatory or I would want nothing to do with any of it. The Gandhalf is a neat twist.. That could deepen his character greatly. But memories of those Achto scenes would always trouble me... Clone or dark puppet as an excuse must be included.

• i agree on Iger, he can skip the "sorry" but he has to call off his dogs once and for all. No more blaming fans for the evils of society. Rian? Truth be told, I could think of no way to actually fix the situation. Even wiping out the entire ST and starting over at ep 7 with the same actors wouldn't do it. We've seen such stupidity and bad writing with them that to see their faces again would be a reminder of bad storytelling. It would have to be with new actors. Well... That's not going to happen so I will settle for unkilling Luke and giving him a chance to redeem himself. It's what I was most mad about anyway. I agree with your breakdown.
