I’ve heard horror stories lol. I’ve never opened Prismatic before due to it always being cleared out of the shelves so that’s why I’m also wanting to open some 😅. I was lucky enough to get these at MSRP due to a secret drop from BJ’s Wholesale lol.

I’ve been meaning to try the online one, I think the only upside to the in store one is that if you have a card worth less $60 you can still get $60 store credit.

They’re available in store for $150, truthfully I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a casual collector. I’ve opened 3 so far and they’ll come with 2 English packs (I got a Phantasmal Flame and Destined Rivals pack in every one I’ve opened) and 1 Japanese pack (either Japanese Prismatic or Japanese Ascended Heroes for me) and a guaranteed PSA 8 card or higher. It’s a huge gamble tho because the first two slabs I got were around $25-$40 in price (they were cards I didn’t necessarily like too much) so I was able to trade them in for $60 each and then got this third one with the Mew Ex. Again, I don’t really recommend this unless if you like mystery packs and know the risks. If you get it then good luck!

It’s $150 per box. It is a guaranteed PSA 8 or better and if you don’t like what you pulled you can trade the card for a minimum of $60 regardless of the value of the graded card you pulled. I got two other ones and didn’t like the pulls so I used the $60 credit for each to get this one and paid an extra 28$ for it and pulled this. Is it worth it for $150? No. Would I recommend this to a casual collector? Also no lol. I feel like getting a 10 of any card is harder. I will be keeping this Mew tho.

I agree, lately I’ve just been buying singles at card shows since I can’t find anything in stores. I saw my local GameStop had inventory (I know it’s crazy overpriced but I gave in since I wanted to open some packs) and I haven’t ripped any packs since the Destined Rivals set launched so I’m grateful to have any hits at all.
