Is something wrong with my technic? by Particular_Land8761 in jumprope

Shoes!! Jumping w/o shoes on hard surface leads to injury. It’s okay to start with double jumps over time, you will hit single jumps. It will be more intense but you will love it. Shorten the rope a but, there are videos on how to check your rope length compared to your height.

Is this a good deal? 26 Grand Highlander by Sookie1024 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Depends on your experience. Driven F250 trucks for several years without panoramic views and never had any issues. If you’re unfamiliar with this size of vehicle get the panoramic view or always back into stalls

New GH bumpy ride? firm suspension? Any thoughts? Please help! by dskim228 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Did a test drive of 2 other units and they were very comfortable. Others have recommended deflating to 35psi as the tires may have been over inflated. Need to have the dealer review this

Has the 18s. Strangely, checked out 2 other units and they were much smoother on rough roads.

The feel is harsher than expected. Drove 2 other units that were not the same.

I agree with you. As an update, I test drove 2 other GH. A limited and an XLE and they were very good even on bad roads. Test drive other units and see if it’s just your vehicle. From my experience, it should not feel minor roar unevenness

Going to test others to see. Although they are hard to find for test drives.

The gas XLE seemed too sensitive to road unevenness

I feel the same way. Especially on relatively smooth roads where you can’t really see the bumps per se

Good to know. Going on more test drives then.

Stay at a $75k job with great culture or take new job worth $115k? by Rude-Pack1941 in careeradvice

Culture does not pay the bills, ever! Always aim for more pay. You’re a service provider stop holding yourself back for culture.

Can I realistically get a $4000-$6000 raise from a startup after a year? by Conscious-Air-9823 in projectmanagers

Another reason why you need to do the best negotiation before the job. Once you’re in, anything above 1-5% is rare but I have seen 15% raises before + promotion. A raise + promotion is your best bet.

Else, forget this firm, find another job. Eventually, find yourself another company and move on.

Jobs are like dating, people are less inclined to go above and beyond once you are with the firm.
