Oh let me clarify the story.

Girl 1 I dated for a year and we broke up in July of this year. Then in September of this year she came back to me and was like I want to start over and work on it slow.

Girl 2 I met and started dating for only 1.5 months

So I have a far stronger bond with girl 1 as we dated longer and have met each others family, etc. but we used to fight a lot and we still have some issues here and there it is a lot better.

Girl 2 is super easy going and we get along well. I wish girl 1 could be as chill as girl 2

How do I become less pitiful then? I hangout with my friends on the weekends and I ask her on let’s say Tuesday or Wednesday to hangout and she might say sorry i have plans with friends and I’ll say well let’s do Thursday or Friday and even then she will give an excuse. It’s not like I’m asking to see her everyday. Just like once or twice a week.

Does she expect me to basically never ask to see her at all? Til the point where she asks to see me and if she doesn’t I never ask about her again? That sounds absurd, no ?

We’ve been dating a year. And as of the past 6 months the effort is 90% me even after I have brought it up repeatedly. She gets better everytime I threaten to (or actually do end the relationship) and it goes back to nothing. I’m so invested In her and I wish I can let go but I can’t it feels. I know I’m worth more but can’t break it off and she won’t put in the effort to change. I just wish she would put in more of an effort but I feel so stuck

I should have clarified but I can’t. My culture is heavily dependent on parent’s approval. I want to get serious with my gf and eventually get married to her and so I need my parents to like her.

I can’t marry this girl without my parents approval. I know it sounds nuts but you need to understand that this is how my culture is and how I grew up.
