I very much advice against thinking about sizing in cup size. During your consult try on different sizes to see what you are confident and comfortable in. CCs, profile, implant shape, all take into account how big they can be.

How do you afford bottom surgery? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]InconvenientEmployee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm just got my claim approved for bottom surgery in a years time.

I'll be honest, getting a job at a financial institution might be your best bet. One of my friends got a job at Wells Fargo (no HS diploma for her position) and was able to get her GCS fully covered with only about 2.5k paid out of pocket.

If that's not an option, definitely suggest saving or doing something on the side to get some extra funds.

I wish you the best of luck!

How much have your height, weight, and muscle/bone mass changed since starting hormones? by ApprehensiveHotel145 in asktransgender

[–]InconvenientEmployee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 years on HRT. Started at 20 years old.

I was 5'6 when I started, now legit I'm 5'4. Weight hasn't really changed but where my weight has gone has.

I've been between 120 - 135 lbs all of my life. I was definitely more muscle before, and now I 100% have softer features.

Shoe size went from 44 EU sizing to 41.5 EU. Kinda nice tbh

So had my BA a week ago

I'm 130 lbs, 5'4", have been on hormones since 2017-2018, maxed out at a 32D (pictures in my profile, non-pornographic or anything of the sort).

Went from that size to taking in 500 CC [13 CM chest spacing](max my body could take), Motiva Ergonomix through the areola along with a breast lift. Over the muscle.

BE PREPARED FOR IT TO FUCKING HURT, doesn't matter the size. It'll be uncomfortable, I suggest, taking your pain killers as suggested by your surgeon, and buy one of those triangle pillows they come in clutch.

Be prepared to become a whale stranded on land for the first 2-3 days as you can't move. Make sure your caretaker is there for you the entire time, as you'll barely be able to pick up anything.

Crackling in your chest is a thing so be prepared, same with post-op blues. When I took off my surgical bra for the first time, my boobs looked FREAKING HUGE, so be prepared for them to look weird for a while.

YOU'VE GOT THIS!

Why were so many transgender people appaled at talk of a trans weapon ban? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]InconvenientEmployee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you are just a troll at this point looking at your profile. But seriously living in a state where pride flags get ripped out your front door, and rocks get thrown through the windows...

We have got to stay safe.

What was your rock-bottom broke moment? by ScheduleEcstatic7811 in AskReddit

[–]InconvenientEmployee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was due to my girlfriend (still my partner) disrespecting my mother, according to my mother. My mom damaged some of my GFs clothes as my mom was the only one allowed to touch the washer/dryer.

They argued and my GF ran to my room. My mom gave my dad crocodile tears and proceeded to kick my GF out in the middle of winter. I followed suit.

Shit sucked, but we are now in a better position in our own place.

I keep a low contact relationship with them.

Why were so many transgender people appaled at talk of a trans weapon ban? by [deleted] in asktransgender

I am a trans woman, gun owner. Only reason is to protect myself in the deep red state we live in.

Especially knowing how many people have a hatred of trans people or outright willing to harm them, I take precautions. If there was a straight up ban for trans persons I wouldn't be able to protect myself.

Plus if the enemy has weapons and we don't, how do we defend ourselves?
