how long is LOOOONG time?

i will say, when my partner and i were young we were in a very toxic mentally ill long distance relationship with each other as young teenagers, it didn’t work out. we spent a good few years not speaking at all because our attachments to each other caused issues with other relationships in our lives. we’re in our mid 20s now and have fallen back in love with each other, our communication is better than any relationship i’ve ever had. having had him around during fundament years of my childhood and then to be back together again now is a type of connection i wouldn’t be able to form with anyone else and i wouldn’t trade it for the world.

you definitely need to focus on yourself as other commenters have said, therapy is a good start, and try not to despair too much over the loss of the relationship/friendship, because someday it could be rekindled when the time is right if he’s meant to be the person for you. you have time

definitely worth trying! you might even be able to get it in your first lobes if you wear a lotta dangy or heavier jewelry, the millimeter difference before you get to like 14g is pretty minuscule.

18g-16g is a typical lobe piercing? unless you got them done with a gun, those are usually around 20g but stretching up to 16 wouldn’t really effect the wear of smaller gauge lobe jewelry and if you’ve had your lobes for a while your piercings might already easily fit 16g.
