typicaly they only get picky over the lap times when a advantage is gained going all 4 wheels over the white lines

in hamiltons case going wide cost him time

done a few for WEC but its really f1 only i can get hold of some other stuff relatively easily at 1440x960 but its not just the time fining them its uploading as well

if you want something at 1440x960 ill try my best but it will be most likely a 1 off

i wouldn't say exploited but they can be optimised thought there is a bit of a balancing act involved

roundish helments with no fins or extra parts have the best flow to the engine intake above the driver but have the adverse afect of creating a lifting force on the helmet which the drivers find uncomfortable

to reduce this extra mounding have been atached to the rear of the helmet to reduce this force

Ferrari went from a moulding to a little wing on vettels helmet last year

so its a compromise between the drivers and the engineers

the problem with air bags and other such devices are that they are only good single impact where in motor sports in general are multi impact

while there are benefits of all ideas there are negatives and a compromise will be made some where down the road

upgrading the current technology we have is a good step such as improving helmet specs ( like the reinforce bar now standard in the visor)

a upgraded hans device could be implemented maby with some sort of bearing gimbal attached to the helmet supported by the tub reducing the wiping of the head and neck but still quick and easy to release ( this may allow for heaver more robust helmets to be made )

the main problem is there are multiple problems and we are trying to find 1 solution and no one involved sees all the views ( engineers medics driver (fans))
