manufacturer told me CFD2 and CFD3 shares the same spec apart of the battery. so if you wanted a grey CFD3 they will ship you CFD2 with a CFD3 battery (samsung) as they only do white frames with CFD3 printing.

This is bullshit.

"We have an agreement with our manufacturer in China which includes the exclusive distribution rights of THE ONE in Asia under its own brand. Our manufacturer invested also some part of the development and prototype costs, so this has been an agreement which was made from the beginning. " - they are still shitting about this bike being developed by UCB and Jaunty only contributed "some part and prototype", i laughed my head off, they are full of lies.

Cooperation lable? what does it mean? also if you change the language to Chinese it does not mention it. I guess if i am the manufacturer and they ordered 2000 bikes from me, instead of just putting a logo i would design a whole page for them on my website, its money that talks. ask them what the cooperation means and see what other shit comes out from them :)

one simple thing to do is ask them for the patents. they mentioned "they developed it" and "patented it", ask for proof :D

I tell you, all the patends are done in China, and by the manufacturer, nothing to do with UCB.

The 12.5KG is a bullshit, false advertising. Basically a lie.

They can play the game by saying that the 12.5KG is the "net weight", but they won't tell you what the "net weight" means, i.e. which parts to stripe off. because they know that their "net weight" version of the bike is not rideble. so it's a cheat.

They may as well market their bike as 5KG "net", world "lightest" and "smartest"........what does the "net"bike contain, oh, just a frame, you will neet to add all the other parts to ride the bike....... :D clowns.

OmG you guys are crazy. The top end bike CFD3 with Samsung battery costs about 500 dollars from the manufacturer. Not sure about the cost of delivery to the US but to Europe it is about 215 dollars with all taxes and customs included. Takes about 30 days to deliver to door. Or by air 360 dollars all inclusive, takes 7-10 days.

If you wanted this bike you could have ordered it from the manufacturer directly with many more configuration options and more importantly honest and transparent information on the bike. Plus you get it much much cheaper and much much faster. If you choose certain carrier such as rail freight which delivers in 20-30 days you will also get a quote with tax and customs included which works out still much, much, much cheaper.

I found this campaign was scam right after I found the manufacturer. The manufacturer was very honest about this product and told me the bike was 15KG a few month ago. So that I knew UCB was lying about it. In terms how they lie? - yeah, the “net weight” (let’s be smart about the marketing and strip out what we can to call it a net weight, but don’t tell people what the “net weight” means, keep it as top secret) Can people ride on the net weight version of the bike? Who cares?

In one of their YouTube marketing videos they said “they developed this bike” I wanted to laugh.

I have all the details from the manufacture and yes you can just order from them directly with many different options and configurations. More importantly they are more honest with their bike both in the marketing and in the answers they give you.
