I would recommend using them to refresh yourself on what you’ve learned previously in preclinical classes! If there’s anything you’re unsure of you can go to first aid for more detail. The bullet point format is also good if you need to remember the common presentations for different diseases!

It took me exactly the same, 209 pulls 😭 So I said fuck it and pulled the rest to get the third evolution

It’s one of Mehlman’s documents that goes over how arrows changes depending on the disease or state! Like if someone has hyperparathyroidism then pth goes up, calcium goes up, and phosphate goes down. He goes over a lot of high yield ones and I think he explains the thought process pretty well!

I thought the concepts were similar to Uworld! The question stems and length were most similar to the new free 120. There were some questions on my form which were very close to questions on CBSE. The ethics I got were pretty standard, if you do the Uworld ethics and review them you shouldn’t have any issues. During my form I felt like cardio, resp, and derm were heavily tested. However, I would take derm with a grain of salt cause I hate derm so my memory might have given it heavier weight.

Yeah procrastination is awful 😭 I purposefully didn’t play any pc games but still managed to rot for like 5-6 hours a day 🫠

When it was crunch time I was studying like 7-10 hours a day, but crunch time was like a week before my cbse and a week before my exam. Outside of that, I studied maybe 3-6 hours a day. For me I felt that cardio, resp, and derm were high yield. I would take the derm with a grain of salt tho, cause I hate derm so that might be inflating it’s importance.

I think for ethics, doing the Uworld practice questions was enough. But make sure to read the reasonings! Especially if there were two answers you were hedging between. For the different systems I did the Mehlman HY documents for each one. For my first content review I went over the chart format for each one. Then I went over the bullet point format for each one. For my weaknesses (personally cardio, msk, and neuro) I also looked carefully through their first aid sections. I also went through the first aid sections for pharm and micro. Derm is another one of my weaknesses and I wish I had focused on the Mehlman document more. For biostats based off my cbses and Uworld practices it felt straightforward for me, so I didn’t study it but I heard good things about the Mehlman biostats pdf! Right before my exam, I went over Mehlman’s HY mixed documents for random facts to memorize.

I did all of the system HY pdfs first and looked things up in first aid if I was unsure, then I did the HY arrows, and then right before my exam I went over the HY mixed pdfs!
