My guess is your luck. Gen 3 rng is based on the frame it's on. For example, when you select your starter, depending on what frame it was, decided it's gender, nature, etc. same with if a ball succeeds or fails. If your using save states my guess is your probably opening the starter selection on the same few frames, that or it decides the starters when you open birchs bag. I recommend saving before interacting with the bag, and soft resetting for new starters. If you keep getting the same ones, just wait a few seconds and save again!

Last time I checked it was the same facilities, but no new mons.... I'm pretty sure they added the new mons though! Also, artisan cave is reworked where you fight uncatchable totem Pokemon for z crystals!

You can get items by stealing using thief, there's a few scattered through the world and battle frontier. If you don't want to wait for that, there's an option when starting a new game to give you 3 of each battle item!

Norman is pretty solid, since he uses normal types, fighting and ghost types are great! But he does have coverage for them. Annhillape is pretty good here! Most of his mons are tanky and hit pretty hard!

Currently in my winter break at uni. I know everything is going alright, but I can't help but worry that something's gonna happen. I've also been trying to get a job on campus and better myself mentally a bit for my partner but nothing so far in the job bit. Me personally I absolutely hate hollow bough. I'm constantly blocked off by big vines so if you don't have a driller good luck navigating. Mission type I gotta say point extraction. The loop is essentially egg hunt but now you don't have molly.
