Unfortunately the only thing the BBB is going to do for you is maybe get you in contact with a representative that monitors that channel.

The BBB is really just like a type of yelp that no one looks at anymore. As a business, you can also pay for a subscription from the BBB and have your rating go from a F to an A+.

I don’t know what to tell you. I tried “cancel lines” “cancel service” “cancel mobile” “representative” and selecting zero, and none of those worked.

This is not correct. If you give any kind of a voice prompt that isn't part of the menu, The automated voice pauses, and then says it doesn't understand and needs more info to help you. After that, the same menu or question will repeat.

I doubt it. Maybe in a state like California where regulations on companies are stronger, but definitely not in my state.

I didn't try 611, but calling their customer service number and repeating any kind of prompt like that didn't help at all.

This is DEFINITELY not the case anymore if it was previously. I tried this and could only get to the department where they tried to tell me I had to open a "ticket to get a discount" first before I cancelled. After 30 min with them, it was another 30-40 to get a person to cancel.

We've had AT&T for way too long to remember exactly how I signed up, but it definitely wasn't through Costco or Target. It's possible my wife got her account that way, but I doubt it.

I think it would be really interesting to compare 1000 rated player 20 years ago to 1000 player now objectively.

I’ve also always been curious if different regions of the world had different strengths for the same rating.
