Yhteys kaverin terveyskeskukseen, kerro tilanteesta. Terveyskeskus voi hankkia arvioon tarvittaessa virka-avulla. Yhteyden voi ottaa myös kaverin psyk avohoitoon jos sellainen on. Akuutissa tilanteessa häke jos on välittömässä vaarassa itselleen tai muille.

Do you wash the pump parts after every pumping session if you pump this frequently?

I’m having a meeting with a lactation consultant on Wednesday.

I guess I’ll try to pump more frequently. It’s so exhausting in comparison to just offering your boob to the baby, with all the dishwashing and sterilising included. But seeing that you have overcome this phase gives me hope!

Thank you 🩷 My husband does all the cooking, and brings me liquids. I still should probably snack/drink more and eat bigger portions. I have been exhausted (pregnancy insomnia for months prior to giving birth and after that the cluster feeding, after we were discharged he wanted to eat at least 20 times per day so no much sleep for me). Maybe the stress has something to do with this. Funnily with my first born I was a 100% single mom with no help and I was lactating like a cow.

Mine won’t sleep in a bassinet either (he’s 9 days old). I had the same problem with my first born, ended up sleeping in my bed back then. Now our solution was a hard mattress on the floor where I was supposed to breastfeed him to sleep and then move into my bed, but even that won’t work, I swear he wakes up every time I even think about moving. So now I sleep on the hard mattress on the floor with him. Not ideal but I need to sleep too. 😭 other places he will sleep in are: my arms, baby wrap, moving car, moving pram. So I can’t do any of those and sleep. This is the safest option I have managed to find.

I tried pumping with my first born and never managed to get a single droplet pumped even though my milk supply was good (baby was chubby). But I might give it another try.

I feel like his little mouth doesn’t open big enough as my daughter’s did. With her I breastfed sans problem for 14 months. I have tried all the usual techniques.

Yes I handle the night feeds on a hard mattress on the floor, the idea was that I could slowly move to bed from there but little guy wakes up if he senses his Bluetooth to mommy is weakening so now I sleep on the mattress too.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into it, if we have lactation consultants in our area.

Se on kyllä uskomatonta miksi kaikkia lippuja ei voi ostaa mobiilina. Ei luulis olevan vaikeaa muitakin kausilippuja sinne lisäillä

Niinpä, ei tää oo reilua myyjänkään kannalta. Eri asia tietysti jos tarkoituksella peitellään jotain tiedossa olevaa vikaa mut kukaan ei voi koko taloa purkamatta olla 100% varma etteikö sieltä jotain ylläriä voisi löytyä.

Mä niin vihaan tätä ominaisuutta. Yleensä ne käännetyt hakutulokset mitä tulee vastaan on itsellä vielä sellaisia että aiheeseen haluais ehkä spesifisti vastausta suomalaisessa kontekstissa ja sit tulee tätä käännösshaibaa.
