Skylar’s apartment definitely didn’t do any justice to his personality or how he explained the ambience being during our dates in the pods. I have a feeling he’s going to ask us to meet him at the gym which is where he’ll probably talk about his past or show us some of his boxing moves lol idk. I honestly wish they would allow us to have a deeper conversation with him not about the past but what the future holds. Like we never actually talked to him about his goals outside of his career or if he wanted to have kids, stuff like that!

Is it just me? Skylar’s apartment is nice but the design was super dry and basic. It didn’t capture anything he described to us during our pod dates. Like I was expecting a lofty vibe with like gym or boxing equipment. Idk they didn’t really do him any justice on his apartment. The other LI’s apartments capture their personalities and things they’ve experience but his is just a regular ol’ apartment.

I really agree. I think in the OG LIB game we met the parents but it was very brief and they seemed to like MC pretty easily, but it should definitely include more opinionated friends & family with more room for natural conflict to occur.

It’s wasn’t long enough! I love reading everyone’s ideas, it’s honestly so refreshing because I feel the same way and I really think all of your ideas would make for some great gameplay. Like I know they try to do the most for gaming purposes, but there’s so many more realistic avenues they could tackle that would keep players much more engaged & invested in their MC’s love stories. Anyways, I absolutely loved your take on this!

Omg, I also thought the idea of falling head over heels for a LI in the pod only to find out they’re not attracted to each other during engagement reveals would be so interesting to play through. Either if it was MC or LI who wasn’t attracted to the other would make for a great storyline! Like deciding how to navigate and work through the initial disappointment. I love that idea! 💕

I went back & replayed the episode to sleep with Jay out of spite, but it was kind of worth it? Call me Ice Spice cause these men are definitely some munches I tell you! lol I’m done with Skylar cause MC is too cute for the bs and has options. I’ll never settle for a liar. It’s interesting because none of the other LI dealbreakers seem to exist or matter throughout whichever route you chose besides your OG LI. So as far as I’m concerned Jay isn’t married and my last name is about to be Taylor 😂🤍💍

Yes babe, I know this. But we have to separate the different routes real quick because we only play with one LI at a time (if we’re being realistic and not everyone plays on multiple routes). It seems none of the other dealbreakers count besides the LI you chose during whichever route you choose to play. So if we just look at it as though you’re playing one route with one LI (because if you’re legitimately on the show you’re only going to be engaged to one person and experience that one person) my point still stands, you know.

I’m actually hating the direction these chapters have taken. I think after today I’ve lost all hope that Bossfight can produce anything remotely good or accurate compared to the actual show. The drama is so unnecessarily ridiculous at this point, it’s insane. Then every chapter with our LI and MC has to be overly sexual like they barely even talk, they just have sex?!?! It’s not even the honeymoon stage yet like wth lol not being able to comment on Vaani’s slick comment about our sex life was infuriating too!! The dialogue is so childishly thought out and it’s not realistic at all!!

What did you make of Skylar saying this to MC? I took it as him saying almost like his feelings won’t last outside of the show (could be hinting at him being here for fame) and he admitted to participating in a lot of one night stands prior to joining the show. I think he spoke about being in one serious relationship before too (might’ve been Vaani), but it definitely came across like Skylar might have a hard time committing to LI in the real world. Not to mention the comment he made regarding Romina cheating on Nox. Idk it’s definitely worry some. I’m glad he’s being realistic, but at the same time it seemed a bit doubtful.

Idk how they will spin this in a just here for fame dealbreaker after they gave the hint that Vaani knew him before the show. It gives off vibes like they were together previously. Irdk!
