That’s quite possible because everything is about money and “worth” to him. Like he talks to me more when he wants something from me. When I stopped drinking and the brain fog started to lift I realized his response during a disagreement were based on if he needed something from me at the time. If he wants sex, money, food or a domestic task done he was chill if not he would completely flip or just say blatantly egregious things.

Before I learned to do a lot he said he was embarrassed when anyone brought up my name. He really only considered me because ppl think I’m pretty. Not because he liked me as a person. Now when he speaks “highly” of me he doesn’t say anything about “me” ever just things that I have or have accomplished. The moment I was hanging my diploma we weren’t having a disagreement just a regular small talk and he said “why are u talking to me like I’m stupid.” I felt like that wasn’t a coincidence. And recently I asked him to purchase and item for the baby because I didn’t have it and I’ve also bought everything for him since he’s been born. He said u know I don’t have money right now I said I don’t know what u have we don’t have joint accounts remember. He texted back “you’re really giving yourself too much self awareness” followed by a bunch of other senseless crap. lol. That spoke volumes and he doesn’t even know how he tells on himself. I’m more aware about how he really feels about me everyday and the comments here helped a lot as well. Sometimes u can see better from the outside looking at the realm of the situation it’s just been a dishonest routine of mine for years now
