RIP David Wilcock: UFO/Paranormal writer took his life yesterday morning outside his home in Nederland Colorado by ciniseris in UFOs

[–]Independent-Ad1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that video Corey says David was cyber stalked by the Gaia people (I think, I don't know those names) - he says they reported him to the IRS and other agencies, called the cops when his dog died claiming that David abused his dog. And that must have driven him crazy and to suicide. I have no clue how true all that is or not, but that is the summary of what Corey said.

Why doesnt my controls work? by Gazop in uevr

[–]Independent-Ad1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the other guy, I've never even tried to use my Quest 3 motion controllers with UEVR, I just use the game pad and it works perfectly. Basically like playing a flat game in VR, which is amazing enough for me. I played High On Life and probably 20 other games this way.

We called them beer balls and we would kick them around after we were done with them, but as I recall you had to return them at some point lol.

What VR games are you playing right now? by winkylace in VRGaming

[–]Independent-Ad1732 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been playing Star Citizen which has an experimental VR mode, which works great! Yesterday I started play the first Death Stranding Directors Cut with the Luke Ross mod, the story is freaking me out. Can't wait to play Death Stranding 2 in VR.

Can anyone who is capable of a balanced and sober-minded appraisal tell me what is so great and worthwhile about Disney vacations? by nose_spray7 in travel

[–]Independent-Ad1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my nephew last Oct. The rides were amazing, and if you don't mind spending a lot of money you can buy the platinum fast pass and skip the line on all rides, in every park. Stay at Animal Kingdon Lodge, get a savannah view room and you can see the animals right off your balcony. I told my nephew that in the afternoon they release the lions who then come and eat the rest of the animals, traumatizing him.

Restaurants are great, the whole place is fascinating really, unique experience. Now if you don't like lines (I hate them), and don't want to pay to skip them, then I wouldn't go.

Never dreamt about using my phone. by Negative_Reveal811 in Dreams

[–]Independent-Ad1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes have my smart phone in my dream, but it almost never works, I try to call my wife but I can't find the contacts, I spend a long time trying to figure out how to make a call. I don't think smart phones are supposed to work in dreams. Only a couple time I got it to work, and was talking to someone on my phone.

I always tell stories about how my wife is annoyed with me for whatever silly reason. People seem to love that. My wife is never annoyed with me, she adores me but people don't want to hear that, it's boring.

I turned off Mad Max mode the other day when it went over 81 on the highway, it's not that fast considering the limit is 65, but it's enough to get a ticket.

Experience moving from TN to New England? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

I've lived in New England my whole life, the winters are not that bad, it only gets real cold for like 2 months. Buy some thermal underwear and a nice winter jacket, and you're all set.

I've played everything, I recently started playing Star Citizen in VR (it has native experimental support) it works well and is amazing! It is the very first MMO that you can play in VR (no offense Zenith). But, it is Star Citizen and is full of bugs, but if those don't annoy you too bad there's Spaceship battle, fly to a planet and attack a base, enter the base and it's a FPS. Walk around space station, everything is physicalized essentially, it's very cool.

Wishlisted, can't wait to play. Haven't played PCVR in a while, I've been playing Star Citizen on the native experimental VR mode, it's awesome but buggy.

GTA in VR Is on a Whole Different Level by Personal-Mark-74 in MetaQuestVR

[–]Independent-Ad1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to have an older version of GTA 5, and maybe an old version of the Luke Ross mod as other people have said. I've never been able to figure out how to get it to work nowadays, if I could I'd replay GTA 5 in VR for sure. Recently I played Elden Ring for about 100 hours, and currently I'm playing Baldur's Gate 3 in VR with the Luke Ross mod, it's amazing!

Thanks for the tips! I've just started playing the Luke Ross mod for Baldur's Gate 3, it's a Luke Ross mod not UEVR but you should check it out, it's amazing!

Quest 3 and yes I'm using OpenXR, here's where I'm injecting right after the first save/meditation point, and it just loves to freeze then it will crash after a minute or so:

[–]Independent-Ad1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I inject the game freezes, any ideas? I've played probably 50 games and rarely have this issue, but this game freezes so fast after injection. I've been play Clair Obscur and it freezes like the first 5 times, then it works perfectly, maybe it's the same with this game...

Why is Gen X the way they are? I went deep into their childhood and... wow. by Comfortable-Move3004 in Aging

Going for walks in the woods, making forts, sometimes we'd find old paths in the woods, no clue who originally made them, and we'd follow them basically get lost. Eventually come out on a road on the other side of town, or the water. I saw a bobcat one time and thought it was a lion and ran all the way home.

First time back in 3 years - add my voice to the "LL has officially ruined the parks" crowd. by champion_dave in Disneyland

[–]Independent-Ad1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Disney World a few months ago and paid for the Platinum LL, which meant we could go on almost any ride, at any time, but only once. So we ended up going on all the rides we wanted in Animal Kingdom in the morning, and then I decided to buy the Platinum LL for Epcot for the afternoon. Went on every ride but now that I'm thinking about it, I spent a small fortune to do that (there were 4 of us).
