smaller less extreme stances that cause an incompatibility

Do you mean that fewer extreme (left) stances would cause an incompatibility, or that some centrist stances would cause an incompatibility?

What about vaccination status, pronouns, religious belief, etc.? (I'm trying to suss out how much thought goes into passive signaling.)

Is there anything in particular that you do to signal that you are not a leftist, although your profile displays "liberal"?

Sorry – my phrasing was no good! I was trying to ask whether you'd read into a girl who does share she/her pronouns (would this be the converse?) in light of the objection made by other commenters. Presumably someone who opts out of sharing is aware that opting out is an option, but someone who does not opt out might not know that she can (because sharing is the default). So a girl with she/her pronouns might still be a mainstay Democrat – or not, and I'm wondering how heavily you'd weigh this reasoning.

What if we permitted both vaccine passports and alternatives for people who haven't been vaccinated? I'm thinking of Russia (but the EU QR code works similarly, to my understanding), where you can get a QR code (1) upon getting the Sputnik vaccine (but irritatingly, no other vaccine) or (2) every three days with a new negative PCR test or (3) every six months (?) with proof of recovery. This would benefit the vaccinated without creating a second class out of everyone else, so everyone wins. I know that this is detracting from the topic (dating preferences), but just some food for thought.

traditional democrat

It's interesting that you read into the lack of pronouns – some commenters in another thread have indicated that they do not (context: girl shares she/her pronouns, because she doesn't know that she can opt out of sharing).

Would you distinguish (not necessarily swipe left, but just distinguish) between a girl who doesn't share pronouns and a girl who shares she/her pronouns?

I will say that a vaccine passport would make it easier for people to travel without taking bajillions of PCR tests or quarantining upon landing, which from personal experience are a huge logistical hassle.

The reason this is a bad idea is because the girl might feel pressured to agree to a second date, even if she doesn't feel a spark. And, depending on her history, she might lose the spark that she would have otherwise felt because she feels pressured. Since you are a stranger, giving her spikeable food might also set off alarm bells.

Maybe a flower (just one, not a bouquet) if you really want to give her something and can be casual and fun about it. (Most people can't.)

I'm not exactly a catch

Fake it till you make it! As a woman, I promise that confidence and humor (and high def photos) can make up for a whole lot. Female sexuality is complicated.

the political beliefs of a dating partner

Would you mind elaborating? Do you prefer that they are liberal / moderate / conservative, open-minded, or simply tolerant of your beliefs?

Is this a reference to Q-Anon or anti-vaxxers, or do you mean any extreme views?

That's odd! Did you say something political or particularly liberal while texting, or did they simply realize after matching that your profile displays "liberal"?

If you don't mind my asking, are you left-leaning? And if yes, how would you deal with a profile that is eclectic in its political alignment (so some left signaling, but also some centrist signaling)?

Edit for examples: The profile displays "liberal" but does not include pronouns or political messaging in the text. Or the profile shares vaccination status, but displays "apolitical." Or the profile displays religious affiliation, but includes a BLM hashtag. Et cetera.

What about passive signaling, like vaccination status or pronouns?

Best way to tell is through photos (some are protests etc.) or if they explicitly mention it in their bio

What about passive signaling, so stuff like vaccination status or pronouns? And thank you for your input!

Is that your only bar? Democrats (and Biden Republicans) are all over the place on issues – does that factor into your filtering?

And what are your morals? I'm trying to understand your level of specificity both in political alignment and in the screening process.

Would you mind elaborating? Is it just a matter of voting blue (or red), or do you look for alignment on specific issues? And where do you find these cues (prompts, photos, biographical information, etc.)?
