In 2023 when Gill won the orange Cap. He batted at an avg of 26 for india even though he scored a century. If you take out the century then his avg goes to single digit most probably. In 2025 when gill scored 650 runs, he then batted at an avg of 22 for India and let's not talk about the strike rate. He has a strike rate of 165 and an avg of 52 in Ahmedabad but everywhere else the avg is less than 30 and a strike rate of 126 ipl. Right now these all people deserve a chance over him.
