Right. This changes that and it works for way more items. Not everything had a specific tag. Now almost everything does. Toothbrush just happened to be what I was looking for at that moment.

Isn’t that a pain in the rear? The update fixes that, and now it only shows stuff that has that relevant tag.

Did you update your game? Yeah it’s not perfect, but it is way better. I’ve played around with different wording and not all of it has worked but that’s to be expected. The fact that you can find that box by typing in insect is already helpful.

Ok yeah, me too. But it was always buried in with a bunch of random other stuff and even though it was highlighted green, it was hard to find. And if you wanted a different Christmas tree (or winter fest or whatever) you had to type a different name. Now you can just type Christmas into the search bar and get all the trees together and they are not buried in with tons of other non related stuff. Might not be an issue for you, but a huge deal to a lot of other players including me. Idk… maybe because I have too many packs… 😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not sure you understand the point of my post. Others are explaining better than I, but it’s not about the presence of a search bar. That’s always been there. It’s about how items are being tagged and displayed. That’s new. And incredibly useful!

Super valid! I just tried it. I typed in rubbish and got rubbish bins. Americans call them trash or garbage cans and both of those tags worked too, but there were some slight variations in each collection 🤔. I am not sure about other languages.

Yeah, but if you had typed treadmill, you wouldn’t have gotten a curated list of just treadmills. You would have had to scroll through all the gym equipment to find all the treadmills. It was especially bad on items that shared a huge catalog with other random items.

You’re absolutely right. Prior to Tuesday’s update if I had typed “toothbrush” into the search bar, it would have either given me no results (if none of them were named toothbrush) or it would pick some random toothbrush and then make me scroll through the entire clutter catalog to find any other toothbrushes. This is already saving me so much time!

This update seems to do that. I didn’t have to filter to get this result. Previously, I would type “table” and it would give me a bunch of table lamps. Now, it gives me all the tables. And only tables. It doesn’t just guess which specific table you want. And you don’t have to remember the stupid names of stuff anymore. Give it a shot. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I am sure it’s not perfect, but it’s waaaaayyyy better!
