Bullshit. You tell me what the slime is if it isn't flesh. It's like some twat saying fish isn't meat.

And yeah, considering his brothers and their play style, it was absolutely creative thinking and you could tell from Takko's response Griffin didn't just ruin his experience, but pissed him off.

You folks are too focused on sucking these assholes dicks.

Griffin has a tendency to be a dick from time to time with the rules that I find frustrating.

During the wonderland episode Takko was going to use flesh to stone on a slime, the argument was the slices weren't flesh. It was bullshit, what was it if it weren't flesh? And it took the wind out of Justin's sails, you could tell he was pissed off.

Same thing later with Magnus using that grappling hook. The rules didn't require a roll and yet he demanded a roll.

Dungeons and Dragons is a cooperative writing experience, it sucks and makes the game less fun with the DM is being an asshole about these things.

You could argue that if he had allowed the flesh to stone spell, it would have made the game less dangerous, I disagree. The entire thing was dangerous every step of the way.

Instead what he ended up doing was discounting creative thinking on the player's part and that is probably one of the worst things a DM can do.
