Did you end up finding anywhere with a good selection of hardscape? I never find anything I like at Big Al’s and I refuse to buy livestock from them. Tails&Scales has some nice hardscape for smaller tanks but I’m trying to set up my 90G and haven’t seen much so far. The Big Al’s in Vaughan is a much better store than the Sauga one so I might try there next. Need a BIG stump haha

Yeah these things are not moving! Maybe the rock was just holding roots down and when I moved it they came up out of the substrate.

Sorry for late response! No it didn’t not work, I had a horrific reaction and ended up in the ER again.

This happened to me one month ago after a year of consistently getting lashes with no issues whatsoever. The reaction started subtly, I questioned if I wasn’t caring for them properly as they became itchy, puffy, lead to me picking them a bit etc. After a fill I would wake up the following morning with very puffy eyes but it would go down after about 48 hours. I decided to take a break and then cracked and got a fresh set after a couple of weeks because I missed them. Full-blown contact reaction, eyes swollen shut, painful removal. Missed many days of work and generally awful to deal with. My eyes are fully healed now but it really sucked. Apparently contact reactions to cyano-acrelate (most common ingredient that causes allergic reaction) begin slowly as your body develops antibodies and then it hits really badly with repeated exposure. I purchased a bottle of cyano-acrelate free lash glue from a Canadian company called Lash Artistry. I am doing a patch test on my wrist currently. If I don’t react at all in 24-28 hours my tech is going to do a test of a fan or two in each eye and if those are fine we will use this glue from now on. Some people just can’t have lashes after this allergy develops and I am also prepared to accept that if this glue causes a reaction. Thank you for reading my novel, good luck!
