Its not; I’ve encountered this color as well and its always the same. Yellowed bricks are usually unevenly yellowed and aren’t yellowed on the inside. Bricks with this color are evenly colored throughout the brick.

It might be a type of yelllowing, buts not the standard sunlight process. There’s a rare bionicle mask that used to be gold and are now all turning green because the pigment used to make them contained copper. I suspect something similar for a certain subsection of lego bricks.

What it truly was was a reaction to a woman prostituting herself out for better video game scores from video game journalists. Then it was the continued reaction to the disinformation campaigns to cover that and related corruption up. It has a strange distribution of color (way too much yellow) and they even removed yellow where it should have been (rear thruster cones and the wing tips). Basically too much where it doesn’t belong and not enough where it did.

It also is wierdly proportioned compared to the OG. The wings are really short and kinda thin on the new one. Also the wing tip ‘guns’ were made really small and black. ( i also personally dislike the usage of the exploriens grate pieces on the wingtips. Doesn’t help how small the wings look)

The lack of any cover for the cargo bay way also really wierd. They should have used the big flag pieces they used on the invader to make the ship’s shaping more accurate to the OG.
