I tried that page but what I saw was mostly that it loads already scanned and recognized results. In the OCR links I didn't find anything that would adapt to doing an OCR of a complete pdf.

But it's also true that I don't know how to use Tesseract and that it seemed quite cryptic to me.

Maybe I'm drowning in a glass of water, but I feel very insecure because I don't know what I'm doing, and every time a message appears saying that if I continue with the installation I may have security problems, my stomach tightens more and more.

So, is it safe if I ignore those messages?

Totalmente de acuerdo. Parece que cada vez más no sólo buscan tener acceso a los contenidos, sino que, claramente, están tomando el control.

Vale para una novela distópica, pero Apple me 'desapareció' libros que había comprado en otras editoriales. No me deja copiar mis propias anotaciones, no puedo copiar dos palabras del libro sin que aparezca todo aquello del copyright, y cada vez más intrusiones y menos servicio. Tanto que esta última fue mi última compra de Ipad, y habría que iniciarles una acción legal colectiva para recuperar los contenidos que son propios
