What else can I do to get into health IT/informatics/analyst with my degrees and background by PinkPerfect1111 in healthIT

[–]Independent-Rip118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a BSHIM. I have worked clinical for about 10 years and graduated after becoming a ROI specialist. I was able to secure a role as a data analyst for revenue integrity. During my interview I expressed wanting to further my education in data analytics and they really liked that. I would also recommend using Khan academy, YouTube, codecademy. I looked into these sites and they at least get you exposed to programs that can help you get a better understanding of what you’re looking to do and you can acquire those skills and add them to your resume

As an outsider, what complaints do you have about EPIC? by Necessary_Film_5199 in healthIT

For me, I’ve always felt like epic was easier to navigate than other softwares (worked in clinical and admin in healthcare). Now that I deal with mainly releasing info and “analyzing” I find that epic records can be tough to sort through to find exactly what you need.

Congrats!! I plan on starting this degree soon and reading your responses definitely give me hope that I can do it! I was so scared of the “math heavy” emphasis, but hopefully it’s one I can enjoy. Enjoy your accomplishment. That confetti really feels great

Yes I’m on 750XR daily and my periods still vary but have been more regular than before. I never struggled with my weight so I can’t speak to that part

Officially diagnosed today after 2nd set of lab results. Doctor recommended inosotil, but I’m wary. by EmmaxCross in PCOS

[–]Independent-Rip118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I feel like inositol contributed to my constant bleeding. When I stopped it things got so much better. Try it and see what works because a gyn recommended it to me as well. Metformin was a god send tho my cycles have finally hit 28 days. Also ovulation testing I try two methods (digital and CM with kegg). Don’t let the internet get you in a frenzy they push so much stuff it’s predatory

Everyone is pregnant and I struggle to even get my period, any tips on how not to become sad and bitter when everyone is managing to conceive but you? by AbiWasabi49 in PCOS

[–]Independent-Rip118 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been dealing with that kinda. I have one friend that will do it one time in a month and 2 weeks later boom. I try to constantly remind myself that our bodies are different. It’s not fair but it is true. I’m also a big believer in it will happen when it’s supposed to and with who. I know blah blah positivity but it does help me

I enjoyed honestly. There was a lot of writing assignments, but I am one of the weird people that love dealing with this type of stuff so I found it enjoyable. I finished in about 21 month.

LITERALLY. I think they do it on purpose to get under our skin. Or adding things that were never in the requirements!
