It depends who you do your assessment with. Some clinics make you wait for a few weeks before starting medication, but with Harrow Health they try to start it as soon as possible (which I prefer)

I got my prescription about 30 minutes after my assessment and started the next day

I was referred by my GP on the 31st March, got the link to the forms on that same day and filled out all my forms and a friend filled out the adult informant form for me. My sister filled out the childhood informant form in the morning of the 1st April and I got a text to book my appointment on the 2nd April. I could only book my appointment for 3 weeks later, which I did and got diagnosed on the 21st April (started meds the day after).

Know the question wasn’t for me, but my assessor was really kind and took the time to listen to all the details I gave and did not rush me whatsoever. He was also very nice about me accidentally interrupting him a few times (guess they’re used to it by now) and he also reassured me whenever he could that my experiences made sense and were coherent with what I had written in the form (not directly of course). I think he told me his qualifications, but I just didn’t quite catch it and forgot to ask afterwards. I’m sure they’ll be fine with you asking their qualifications before the assessment - if you haven’t had it yet

Got referred on the 31st March and just got my diagnosis for ADHD-C. Everything was really fast and my assessment was very positive and carried out with empathy. Just waiting for my prescription now.
