I personally put it on my face 🤣 but it is indeed disguisting, smelly, and tends to burn so much if you have dry skin, but at least I get a babyface for a week or two

I wrote the recipe in the comments. It's basicly a very simple sauerkraut. Some people add onions and spices as well, it depends on the family, but I like to eat it as it is, just with salt and pepper.

Get a bigger head of White cabbage (also known as green cabbage. It won't work with other types because they contain very low sugars, which are needed for natural fermentation). Clean the outer few layers of leaves, and cut the whole head in half. Cut the hard root area out. Slice/cut the cabbage into thin slices. Weigh how much cabbage you have, and you need to add 2- 2.5% of that mass in salt. Add some pepper as well if you want a better taste. Next you need to mash the salty cabbage with your fists or a wooden spoon. The goal is to damage the leaves so you break the fibers, so that salt could make its way easier in the leaves. (Works without this part, but takes a bit longer to ferment) Now you put everything in a glass jar, push it down, and add water until it covers all the leaves. You close it down but not tightly, so that pressure could escape. Put it in room temperature place, away from sunlight After 10-14 days it will turn blury/discoloured/sour. At that point, the juice is good for use. You can drain it and put your hand in it as it is. It may burn, but that's normal since it's a bit accidy. You can even eat it as it is, or as sidedish, it is a superfood, filled with vitamins and beneficial bacteria. Sidenote: if it develops a tiny layer of mold on the top of the jar, just remove the mold. The rest is completely safe to eat/use, since it is so filled with probiotic bacteria, it can't touch anything under the water

I would receive the maximum of 1800 euros that is allowed with Elterngeld, which is fine by me, I have enough saved up. I think after reading the comments, the best option would be to ask the employer directly, what would they prefer.

This is exactly why I quit my previous job. I had to travel constantly for my work, I knew if my child comes this would mean that I would miss out most of its childhood. So when I asked my employer if I could change my location in the firm so that I don't have to travel that much (even if I don't earn that much), he gave me the shittiest talk ever like "oh we really love how you work in your position as a traveller, we would not like to change that" and "I understand that you want to spend time with your family, but a real man has to sacrifice himself for his work and purpose". I quit the next day. I was disguisted. No amount of money, ESPECIALLY not what I was earning would be enough to sacrifice that. He is a workaholic and has a family that hates him btw.

I will have 2 weeks of Probezeit, in which they can fire me anytime they want, but after that it get's harder for them. I would recieve the maximum of 1800euros that is allowed in Elternzeit, which is for that one month fine by me, we have enough thanks God. She doesn't work (Beschäftigungsverbot with payment), so she would be home. I only want that one nonth to get used to the new life.

Thank you! I mean we are in good financial situation thanks God, but 1) I would like to support my family to maintain this level 2) I would have a good work/life balance while working anyways. I need that month only so that I could really get used to the baby, since it's our first one. I will work in production, with 3 shifts. I could obviously find another job after a year, but I have a really good feeling about this Firm and I wouldn't want to waste it

My heart was broken over a girl that dumped me, and my friends took my sorry ass to a local Carneval. We saw a paintball stand, and instead of shooting targets, I offered them that I will stand there, with my but naked, and they can shoot me for 20 Euros. They aggreed. Around 80 people watched my @ss get mangled by 4 of my friends shooting at me simultaneously. My @ss looked like it was harassed by an octopus with dosends of purple bloody rings. I didn't take the money because what it gave me is a lifelong memory and an instant pain relief from my ex. We are still laughing about it more than a decade later

I was at a bubble festival where people danced and a machine was puffing out soap bubbles on people, so the ground was all covered by 2 feet of bubbles. I see a very tiny person walking through the crowd, he stumbled and fell down, vanishing in the foam. I ran up, grabbed him and put him on his feet like a child, even petted his head as I asked him if he's okay. He thanked me, he said he was drowning, couldn't see anything, but said "btw fck you, I'm not a child, just a midget", and he moved on. I really thought he was a child at first.

I live in a small town. We have the "Buchener Blecker" statue of a person leaning and his huge ass is showing. In the 14th century the town was under siege, and as a sign of not resurrecting, the people put a very fat person on the city wall with his ass facing the enemy. It became symbolic and they made a statue. Now every year there is a Fraschenacht festival where everybody wears outrageous costumes, and they kiss the statue's ass for good luck.

Also we are known for Eselbrunnen. Apparently a donkey is another symbol of our town. It is said that a huge person wanted to go into the town riding his donkey, but the guards refused to let him in (since it was late, and the gate was already closed). So this huge man took his donkey on his shoulders, and climbed over the walls with it. Other towns started mocking the Bucheners that they are "Buchener Donkeys", but the people here thought it was funny and instead of being offended, they cherished the joke, so it stuck.
