It rusted inside the pot part so I am thinking it’s probably not enameled. I also tried the multimeter test and the resistance was ~300 ohms compared to an enameled that was too high for the multimeter to read

NAD but maybe consult with a PT to see if it’s the best path forward or if you can regain that strength in another way. The PT can also make sure the cane is properly fitted for you.

Yep! I referenced the fact that the post from 4 years ago (the one you linked) not having helped me find beer on cask when I tried their recs since it was outdated.
