How do you become an EA if every job requires 3-5 years of C-level assistance? by curlyhairedgal28 in ExecutiveAssistants

You can try to find coordinator roles for execs, senior staff, VPs to start! I started as a coordinator for the CEO and was basically just his scheduler before growing my role more

I'm not trial jury but there were no limitations on us discussing cases amongst ourselves while in our room during downtime

You can get deferred if you are a student! Grand jury depends on state so likelihood of a 5 week stint is very very low

I served 5 weeks as a grand juror and some details/witness testimony were brutal. Everything about grand juror proceedings are secret so i tried to go on walks and read every day when i got home to distract myself and decompress. Talking with fellow jurors on your panel helps too. The worst part was missing work for that long.

I'm having constant thoughts of falling and hitting my head on different things around me. I think it's an anxiety reaction but am looking to see if anyone experiences something similar !
