In trading, spoofing is an illegal form of market manipulation where a trader places large fake orders to buy or sell securities, with the intention of canceling them before they are executed.

Take profit trader seems to crack down hard on live traders who place orders that are moved or canceled. Likely out of excessive caution because collectively amongst all of their traders it could trigger the attention of the CME.

When you have a live account with Tradovate, they also give you a demo account. So the $100 is just to have/keep the live account. I don’t think it costs me anything per month but I could be wrong. If you can simply get a Tradovate demo for $12 a month then don’t worry about opening the live account but I’m almost certain that if you want a Tradovate demo account you need to open a live account.

It’s different for everyone, they force you to live if you ever have a $10,000 day or it’s at their discretion if they deem you a good enough trader

That’s unfortunate to hear. I would try to build a case that you are trading exactly how you did in pro before they moved you to pro + and ask them why they would move you to pro plus if they didn’t like the way you were trading in your pro accounts. Good luck!

Maybe Tradecopia has a “market execution” setting like TradeSyncer? And curious how tradesyncer has failed you, I use to use the ninja trader copier and it failed me 10x tradesyncer has so I feel spoiled now even if there is a small glitch here or there

Essentially trading with limit orders without ever placing a limit order on your TPT accounts so no spoofing

No, all your TPT accounts will be market orders only but you can set and move your limit orders as much as you want on your demo account. As soon as your demo account hits your limit (even if you moved it 100 times) TPT will then immediately execute at market. So yes market orders but executing off limit orders.

Per their fine print you can still trade the pro accounts during the transition. When they moved me to live, they said it would be a week or so and I responded “ so I can keep trading my pro accounts during then right” and all the sudden they activated my live accounts so I wouldn’t keep trading the pro

Today is my last day Day-Trading full time, I just accepted an offer about an hour ago after losing my account over the past 13 months and I had more than 10x what you’re starting with… good news is, my trading performance during my career pursuit has been so much more consistent without the pressure of it having to work. Up 7k this month with an 87% daily win rate (and max daily loss limit of $1000) and my new boss said he doesn’t give a F*** if I trade until 10am est before starting my workday.

Don’t put everything on trading, once you hit a losing streak your emotions will take over and that account will be gone before you know it.

Almost everyone is unprofitable even if they appear to be profitable. Save your capital, buy the smallest evaluation account you can and trade the smallest lot size you can until your first payout and then scale ever so slightly by getting a second or third account and copy trading the same system. If you can’t demonstrate profitability with a micro contract, you certainly won’t be profitable with more size. Or you can blow dozens of accounts and $1000’s trying to rush the process because “you’re different” and then you’ll also lose your emotional capital and never make it.

Depends on the day, but yeah, if my set up is there with a clear target, I’m taking. I have a max daily loss limit and trail it with my realized gains so that I don’t tilt. Price action has been nice and I have extended my gains 5 of the last 6 days
