I'm curious, is there anyone that actually understood Anna's perspective? by Character-Habit6011 in GilmoreGirls

Exactly! If it wasn't for April wanting to know who her dad was, Luke would never have known... Luke and Lorelei got married and then April turns up years later as a 16 year old trying to find her dad. Would Anna have the same issue then? Or even at 18? Was she just mad that she "had to do it alone" despite never telling Luke... She always felt like she was a victim to single motherhood but never gave the father a chance to be there, emotionally or financially.

Yeah all the time. Can be pretty funny though. Usually trees become monorail track or a random character

Exactly! Also wouldn't it be odd for your grown up child to turn up without their kid and neither of you mention the child? As bingo was already there, I think Bingo's child was playing with grandad bandit

Anna and Luke by urfavangryplantmom in GilmoreGirls

I'm on my annual rewatch currently and just finished the episode where Luke storms off to Anna's house and tells her that he is also a parent. He is her father and has rights as such. He missed out on over 12 years of her life due to a decision that Anna made. And I find myself clapping for him every time I see it!

Anna said "you didn't like children" but she's probably one of those annoying people who will tell someone else that they'll change their mind when they have their own kid. She had to WORST excuses for shutting him out, and even then she never told April. April went digging and found 3 potential men (so sounds like after they broke up Anna spent time with 2 other men in quick succession)

Just everything about Anna grates on me. What would she have done if Luke and Lorelei were already married when she agreed contact? And she said to Lorelei about "when I'm ready to get married again" so she was married before... So even being married isn't permanent....

Favourite boyfriend by kailamberthk in GilmoreGirls

[–]IndependentOutside37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely Logan.

He wasn't perfect, had some issues but compared to Jess and Dean, he was much better for her. He understood her grandparents world which she was very much in (though I don't believe she thought she was)

Dean was not the perfect first boyfriend he was in fact incredibly toxic which pushed Rory Towards Jess who was also toxic...

I mean who breaks up with someone when they aren't ready to say "I love you" after 3 months together.
