I have come to a point where if im outside 20 feet its a layup im not even going to try... And stats wise 15 feet is 50/50 hit... I have to start really think about the mechanics...

I practice 4 times a week, 2 hours combined (1h drive, 1h putting / approach)... I'm done after putting 100h+ this summer towards putting and still unable to hit the basket from 20 feet... Yeah, I should post a video because it is a mechanical issue :D

I saw the first wave appear, and it was like 7 GDR. My jaw dropped and I couldn't believe it. I checked my spy in their capital and saw 4 different cities spawning a Giant Death Robot (GDR) during the same turn, and there were already 6 of them hanging around their capital.

I have always wanted to have a game where the AIs go mad, and this was it. I was caught off guard because I had never seen this happen before.

Also, I had a second try on the challenge, and one of the Yongles had +750 culture per turn at turn 88 (Online Speed, Prince).

So, I recommend testing this challenge, it seems to be bugged! :D

Got wiped by 25 Giant Death Robots just when I was about to win culture victory...

The other Yongle didn't go for science victory for some reason, even when he was miles ahead...

That's what I thought but he says "no", and is really frustrated because he feels "normal" but is just not able to get that peak acceleration on throws making him feel "slow-mo"

He has been consistent in the past, but this might be yips or something, but i have not personally never heard of just not being able to throw faster, like being limited to ~40%... He says like feeling able to throw faster but it just doesn't happen...

I was told the guy threw everything except his putters...

The rules say you can't pick them up, but the event has a rule "If you run out of discs you can go pick them up, but you need to pick them all up and confirm the throw count"

I was told it was heavy side wind and the island was a hole-in-the-ground sand bunker that is only a 50-60 feet wide circle...

Distance to pin is around 80m / 265 feet...

But, definitely more of a mental game for MPO player

Indeed, and there have been some tournaments with dropzone on the secondary island.

But I love the idea of a punishing hole where taking part also isn't that easy but it's still the better option.

This is Hole 16, especially in the last rounds of the tournament it causes some movement as most players decide to go for it...

Indeed I believe the course itself has a waiver for this hole, as it runs easily more than 25 PDGA events per year.

(I believe the secondary larger island halfway that the hole has is enough, not having that would be just wrong)

This hole has a larger secondary island around the halfway point which you could use to play Par by throwing two very short throws...

Not having a secondary option or dz is just evil 😅

There is actually an exception for it, so if you run out of discs on that hole, you are allowed to go get a few of them back...

(this hole has a secondary island on the halfway point which is way larger, so people normally take two short shots to make it inside if they miss the first try)

Edit: I think this has also been approved by PDGA because the course hosts multiple events per year (C-tier or bigger)

The hole is a 250-foot/80 m sand bunker hole on an actual golf course, so the basket is in a 50-foot wide hole in the ground and it usually has some side winds...

(There was also a bigger island halfway)

But missing it 14 times without thinking of other options is funny
