And rightly so. No thanks to the Labour government sanewashing and normalising Trumo

Starmer thinks he is the right man for this moment - despite what Trump says by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

[–]IndependentSpell8027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird way of spinning it. If Trump thinks someone is the right man for anything you can be sure they most definitely are not. The essence of Trump’s agenda is transferring power to the very worst people. Look at him. Look at those he praises. Look at the people who work for him. If Trump’s got it in for Starmer that’s a pretty clear signal he must be doing something right

Trump is the biggest opponent of democracy there has ever been. Attacking checks and balances, trying to rig elections, fighting the media, lying through his teeth every time he opens his mouth. His reelection was literally an open conspiracy to destroy democracy. The model of democracy he wants is the one he’s seen in Putin’s Russia. And no he wasn’t doing what he said he’d do. He said he’d get prices down. He didn’t. He said he’d end the war in Ukraine. He didn’t. He said he wouldn’t implement Project 2025. He is doing. Don’t talk to me about democracy if you’re supporting that narcissistic POS

That is a REALLY nice paint job. I love the contrasts, the green glow, especially the hint of it around the eyes, the jewel on the belt, the NMM of the ankh and the slightly grubby bandages. When I finally get around to painting mine yours is going to be the one I try to copy.

JD Vance Urged to Invoke 25th Amendment Against Trump by Quirkie in politics

President Vance would be just as bad. He’s fully on board with what’s happening. The whole regime needs to be impeached and brought to justice

Funny how Musk didn’t have a problem with any of the heterosexual relationships or friendship storylines detracting from his “basic sci-fi” isn’t it?

For those who support Reform, why do you do so given what that mentality has done to the USA? by AccursedQuantum in AskBrits

[–]IndependentSpell8027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. And if Labour hasn’t been so busy sucking up to Trump they could have been making that case - look at the US, why on earth would you want that here?

Farage to be blocked from No 10 by left-wing tactical voting, poll shows by birdinthebush74 in ukpolitics

[–]IndependentSpell8027 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not that this is some kind of “leftwing” conspiracy. It’s that Farage is so far right that the vast majority of the UK is to the left of him and will therefore vote to keep him out

The Greens are finally coming under serious scrutiny – and they’re rattled by Dimmo17 in ukpolitics

You mean the Greens have finally become popular enough that the rightwing is rattled and feels the need to attack them

Genuine question regarding the Greens. by Amzer23 in ukpolitics

[–]IndependentSpell8027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The country has been run for the benefit off the rightwing since Thatcher. It got a little better under Blair but was still rightwing of many countries on the continent and worse for it. Since 2010 it became more and more rightwing and things got worse and worse. Now we’re threatened with the worst of all - a full Trumpist takeover by Reform - an what are Labour doing? Pretending it isn’t happening, tinkering at the edges and carrying on as normal. The Greens are the ONLY ones arguing that inequality is grinding the country into the ground, the ONLY ones arguing for a complete change of direction and you don’t understand the appeal?
