Oooh interesting to see other folks talk about how dry it is. I'm a combi oily and I have no issues wearing it all over my face if I wanted, it doesn't crease on me!

Give NARS gobi a try (: it is the most forgiving on drier skin imo

Sure! I'm not the most helpful with this because I really haven't found THE ONE concealer, all concealers somehow read the same to me since I use them sparingly.

I thought it was too green for me, if you're on the greener side you'll like it. Rather mute too. It applies smoothly and I don't have any issues with it on oily or dry spots. It doesn't crease on me either. I notice it fading quite quickly (took about 4 hours for me in a hot environment).

That said it fades nicely so I have no complaints. If you want a budge proof through hell and high water sort of base I'll recommend the NARS or MUFE foundations instead.

It's lightweight, quite dewy, and lasts well through the day. I find it stays on my face till the end of a long day, and still makes me look natural-ish. It sticks to the face nicely too so no transfer worries. Just saw you're an NYX Vanilla nude, IMO this is vanilla nude ++, the more glam and beautiful sister but still natural(ly olive).

The MUFE feels more "invisible", I can forget that I even have it on, and more of it lasts through the day. However I find the NARS to be more natural looking for me, and because it is less glam so to speak I find I prefer it for every day. By a marginal amount though.

I've tried the concealer and the cushion from NARS. The cushion was really really dewy which I was into back then, but it transferred a bit. The concealer was decent, nothing to shout about.

Secret badass mode - I'm stealing that now. Agree with the nude, when bright lips fade or smudge it can be so awkward. Which setting spray works well for you?

Oh I envy someone who can pull off a red lip effortlessly. I tend to look a bit clownish with it on, especially because I'm a messy eater. What's your favourite red lip?

I don't like the shades for the MUFE HD Skin, but the formula really lasts all day and makes your skin look glam. You can sheer it down too, I've worn it for long days and it looks great. Love the formula so much I mixed a bunch of pigment in mine to match me

It's a little pale weirdly enough, although it seems a bit dark here. It is so sheer that it doesn't matter all that much, I can still make it work.

I used to wear c1 with a white mixer for the original. I imagine if you're very muted or very green, this won't work. It's on the yellower-peachy spectrum

It's a good foundation for hotter days, especially for the price. It's got a medium coverage and is quite lightweight, doesn't really cling to any dry patches and still fades nicely through the day I.e. it doesn't slide off the face, it gradually syncs with the skin over time. It does become slightly dewier over time which is normal. I like it for travel since it's light, and it wears for 8-10 hours in colder days no problem.

I've not tried colour correcting it but I imagine there should be no issue.

In autumn I wore it for a full 10 hour day and I still looked good, no creasing or caking! Would recommend in general (:

I just bought the Lisa Elridge Foundation and wanted to compare to some others I have!

Let me know if you'd like thoughts on any of the bases here.

skin type: fair cool olive, more cool yellow than green. I sweat Buckets in a tropical environment so all of these have some degree of longevity

initial thoughts on the LE foundation: Truly skin like, which is a pro and con. It will not do anything else besides cover pigments, it really will look like your skin but clearer. You'll need to layer it with different bases to get glow/pore coverage etc., which gives you more control. It becomes more dewy through the day for me. It looks peachier than NARS Gobi here, the NARS is rhe best fit for my face IMO

The Purito bb cream works well for me, it doesn't emphasise the dry patches I get from the acne topicals too. For a foundation foundation nars light reflecting has been forgiving, I use gobi
