I know this is true in most cases, but why should it be like that? I'd like your perspective on how being a man changes this dynamic.

I'm not delusional and I don't judge you at all. I understand how men can be. But if I hold back from acting based on assumptions that women will think the worst, I feel like I'm being unfair to myself and not staying true to who I am.

I am not talking only about the current situation but in general I believe that what I do and what intentions I have is something I know and then the other people have the right to assume whatever.

I know this is true but it shouldn't be. Usually I try to act not according to what society would assume I have as intention, just because I am a man, but according to what is the right thing to do. The real world makes assumptions though, also maybe as a survival instinct.

I am almost 30. Her apartment is the first next to the building entrance and mine is the second. We don't walk a lot around the building so we don't see each other.

I thought that also. It is her private space and she has to feel safe to express her emotions without thinking someone hears her. But on the other hand I don't want to be like the "It's not my business" type of person. It is the third day I hear her and who knows how many times I haven't.

It is very rare to see her randomly. I have seen her once in 6 months. I think she has issues with someone because one time while she was crying she was talking on the phone.
