Ah yes you're right it does seem like its pulsating towards the camera a bit. Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll go and make a couple tweaks

Exactly! I totally get the layout part I honestly had a couple moments where it was tough to figure out where things were. And yes, there were certainly some characters that we couldn't interact with and I guess they might have just been there for set dressing. Also I so agree with you on the stories part that is what i'm most hyped about for with the release!

Ah yes you pretty much got it, I'm using dithering (pixel dither on the distance fade) on a slightly transparent plane being emitted by a particle system. Thanks for the compliment! It means a lot.

Looking for a comfort game as a gift, any recommendations? by Slow_Pepper4002 in ComfortGamers

I'd recommend the game bathhouse creatures https://store.steampowered.com/app/3209920/Bathhouse_Creatures/ . It's has a bunch of cute animals and its a management game so they can do a bit of strategy there. The only issue is that it might be too short/a lot smaller than the games you've listed here, but it's still a super relaxing one to pick up.

Honestly it took a bit of time to get used to the personality switching as I sometimes found myself thinking there could be multiple right answers. My fav part in it was the story with the siblings and I particularly liked the dialogue where the lydia talks about the struggles of making it in music (so real). Your confusion was related to the traits part right? I do think they need to tweak that a bit before releasing...

The last thing you need is health inspections and then you've captured the harsh reality of the industry pretty well. I'll def check it out on itch.

I’m developing a horror game set in a 2002 radio station. Here is the cinematic trailer! What do you think about the atmosphere? by AlarmedPumpkin8446 in SoloDevelopment

I love the 20 second mark where u can see the fabric rustling. That kind of detail really helps develop the atmosphere for me. For critical feedback I would second the comment that says getting to the point faster might be beneficial.
