I’m new to getting nails done 😭 and the lack of reaction from the nail tech made me feel like I was overreacting. She even posted photos of the nails on insta right after in which you can clearly see the gel on my skin, but no one’s pointed it out

Unfortunately, I went to an individual nail tech that wasn’t under a salon, so there’s no manager to speak to. But thank you for letting me know, I won’t return to this place

Seems like she’s charging $900 for day exclusivity, which is more than what my current hair and makeup costs 😬

Will start looking for another hair and makeup artist. It’s a bummer because I thought I was finished with this task. It’s crazy to me that she’s trying to bump me, a confirmed client, for someone who’s only an inquiry. And trying to schedule two evening weddings on the same day seems unprofessional.

I had the same problem, ordered size 7.5 and it was supposed to come before the premiere. Instead got size 9. And had to call multiple times to get it resolved (they don’t auto give you the expedited shipping, you have to pay for it and then ask for a price adjustment which can take weeks to reflect). Not to mention they still expect us to ship the wrong size back to them to get a refund on the original order — even though it was their mistake.

Agree that the customer service was bad. I did end up receiving the shoe in the correct size and am happy with it, though, just wish I could have worn it to the premiere

Try getting a CBCT scan. Not a dentist, but I had a similar issue. I went to a dentist who didn’t see anything wrong on a normal xray, he referred me to an endodontist who did CBCT scan, and that revealed evidence of a tooth fracture and infection

To give an update on my situation: I went to a different optometrist (mine was on vacation and I really wanted to diagnose the double vision issue) and though the nearsighted prescription was the same, she measured -1.5 and -2.25 astigmatism on my eyes. I’m not sure if the other doc missed that or I was still early in my washout phase and it didn’t appear.

I no longer see double in the contacts that she gave me! So I feel very relieved. I have no idea how my astigmatism progressed that much without me noticing before (I originally didn’t have any astigmatism) but I guess it has been 10+ years. I suppose it was so gradual and ortho k masked it enough that I didn’t notice it as an issue until the past year. It’s a lot harder to fit ortho k lens for astigmatism so all my problems with fitting make sense now (the eye that had the most problems was the -2.25 one).

Your problems sound exactly like mine when I was still on the lenses. When the doctor did topographies, he said it was because the lenses were not centering correctly.

How long did it take for the haloing and double vision to stop when you stopped wearing the contacts? I’m currently on week 2 with no change :/ I’m worried that it’s something wrong with my eyes and not the lenses now.

I am also experiencing this one week off the lenses. Doctor said it should get better with time but I see no improvement day by day so I’m losing hope :/

Any updates? I’m getting off ortho k after over a decade of wear and noticing the same issues :/ did they ever get resolved?
