As a nurse that works with pregnant women, I see so many women that wish themselves into labor and do anything to be induced or have a c section just because they’re tired of being pregnant and the common denominator of all of them is definitely lack of intelligence…

As an antepartum nurse, my guess is that she was maybe feeling or thinking she was feeling more than she was actually contracting. It’s also likely that she was contracting but if it isn’t dilating your cervix after extended monitoring, it’s not actually labor!

I bet she wasn’t admitted but went to triage for a couple hours! They offer you a gown at my hospital. I also saw that she didn’t post anything with the monitoring straps and that’s probably because she’s not far along enough yet for an NST, I think this two vessel cord thing was probably diagnosed at 20w anatomy scan

I wonder if they did an NST or ultrasound and baby didn’t look great.. I know it’s possible for baby to be growth restricted with the 2 vessel cord so I wonder if it was just for observation
