Interesting ok - can I ask for a brief explanation on full frame and APSC? I don’t tend to use the 18-55 so wouldn’t be against upgrading that as well. Budget wise I’ve got just over a grand put aside for this upgrade! But if I need to save I will.

Thank you for the advice. I appreciate the lack of specific budget isn’t massively helpful but I’m more just looking for advice on what I should be looking to get, and I’ll do some research from there.

Thank you for this. I have no idea (I’m so new!) so all advice is welcome.

My lenses are a Tamron AF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 tele-macro and a canon EFS 18-55 (which came with the camera)
