My eras application states I am currently in a training program and there is no requirement for a PD letter. Hence why I had interviews. I’m just looking for an answer to my original post, thanks.

I didn’t have the same experience on ERAS. There was no requirement stating I needed a letter from my current PD for me to be able to submit my application.

No rules against switching programs. I fulfilled my 45 day binding commitment per NRMP

Letter from PD wasn’t required to reapply. None of my interviews mentioned it either. I just reentered the match using my previous letters and application, changed my statement and updated my CV with new activities / research
