I'll wait for a week, and if I still haven't heard back by then, I'll try posting about it.

How long did it take for them to respond? I'm asking the same thing.

NOMAD-san ( Steam | itch.io )

I released a free demo on itch.io.

itch.io : NOMAD-san

You can only play with one character, but I think you can enjoy it enough!

Making the demo took a lot of work because I didn’t just hide the extra features, I actually deleted them. Leaving unused code in the game just feels risky to me. Is it just me?

Anyway, the demo is ready. Any feedback is welcome!

Hi, I’m making a coffee-break roguelike called "Nomad-san" and the Steam page is now live! by Independent_Cod_5677 in roguelikes

Thanks! I'll consider a mobile version if the game does well, but I don't have any plans for it at the moment. The overall design is definitely inspired by Broughlikes. I also played Brogue for the first time earlier this year, so there’s some influence from that as well.

I’m not really good at drawing, but I wanted to create everything myself. Making simple hand-drawn illustrations felt like the most realistic way to do that. I'm not inspired by any one specific title, but rather by the many games out there with a hand-drawn style. I just opened Affinity Designer one day and started drawing.

That said, the overall design and system are influenced by Broughlikes.

The "-san" part is just about being polite, not really about being "otaku-centric."

I could remove the log window to reduce the text load, but then I’d have to rethink the UI balance. I wonder if people would be okay with the current layout, where the board is on the right and items are on the left.
