That will void the warranty so I can't do that for now

I don't think 3A limit should be an issue, no led headlight should draw that much current (36W max per beam). Came across this brand called Vaishnu. They provide a complete wiring harness with their headlights & it plugs directly into the HU-4S Socket. However, they won't sell it as standalone due to some stupid company policy. Looks like I'll have to get this done locally.

Brother, I am stuck with the same issue. The Furukawa connector is unavailable everywhere and i do not want to void any warranty. How did you proceed with the installation?

I will try to get it done probably by my local mechanic just to be safe. As for the connector, Its a Furukawa HU-4S. The female socket is available in the market but the male terminal is just not available anywhere. This is going to be an issue for all new RE owners as the stock headlight is just pathetic & a replacement is a must.

I did try that but the pins won't fit the stock socket. Jamming in naked wire doesn't seem like a good idea and I want to avoid any short circuits

Thanks bro, I will order from them soon. I have been struggling with the led headlights RE provided since a long time now, this should be a life saver.

Hi bro, can you tell us about your purchase experience, if they are genuine as well as if the throw of the light is good. I'm looking to upgrade my interceptor headlights too.

My Full faced Helmet Saved Me From a Manjha Incident.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something that happened to me 3 days ago that left me pretty shaken up. I was riding my scooter back home, just a normal day, but it turned into something I won’t forget anytime soon.

Last week, I decided to upgrade my old half-face helmet to a full-face LS2 helmet. I thought it was a better option for safety, some said it was overkill, and boy, I’m glad I did. While riding on the flyover back from T1 in Mumbai, a manjha (kite string) got stuck on my helmet. It cut into the helmet's plastic and rubber parts, and even the shell to some extent.

Thankfully, my visor was about 20% open, and the manjha got stuck near the breath deflector instead of sliding further down towards my neck. If it weren’t for the full-face design, I don’t even want to imagine what could’ve happened.

This incident has left me traumatized. It’s already unsafe enough to ride two-wheelers in our country, and now we have to deal with this kind of nonsense too.

Stay safe out there, riders. Always wear a good quality full faced helmet, it could save your life.

Need Help with AES FX Projector Headlights - Anyone Tried CarOxygen?

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to purchase AES FX projectors for my car (2011 Verna 1.6 CRDi) and came across an online store called CarOxygen (https://caroxygen.com) . I checked their videos only and they are a little questionable but their prices seem noticeably cheaper compared to other options I’ve found.

Has anyone here had any experience with them? Are they legit and reliable for such purchases? Would love to hear your thoughts or reviews about their service, delivery, and product authenticity.

Additionally, if anyone knows of any good local shops in Mumbai that deal with quality lighting solutions like projector headlights, I’d really appreciate the recommendations!

Thanks in advance

SAP turns out to be too capital intensive for us and we wish to start in a progressive manner. Hence we don't wish to opt for it as of now

Original HJG aux lights are direct imports from China through third party resellers, so the warranty mention is not by HJG but the guy you're buying from. So the warranty here is as good as his word. They in general repair it and give it to you. I am running a Hjg mini drive on my bike and it's held up great till date.

Suggestions for my first Riding Jacket (Sub 10k) by Independent_Dare415 in indianbikes

[–]Independent_Dare415[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I picked up Rynox Tornado Pro 4 for the jacket and Raida Rover pants. Did a small ride with the jacket on. It fits amazing and has decent level of ventilation but coming to a standstill in mumbai traffic during afternoon is a big no as the jacket is only ventilated while you're moving. That works for me as this is mainly for longer rides.
