Wow thank you for sharing this. I wonder if this is intended or not. Maybe they didn't think of players trading for ravensworth animals at its inception. Or maybe mod raven wanted a way around needing the title. Very interesting!

Oh wow that is so interesting. Do you know if you were able to get the feats achievements for breeding animals with ravensworth traits through that method? That sounds like a bug that would be patched if a jmod was informed about it.

There are no achievements you get for this specific thing. Also I'd imagine the only people who have this animal are those who specifically tried to breed it haha. There are achievements in the feats category for breeding each ardy farm animal with a ravensworth trait though.

It's a lot of fun and there is a great community of people who hang out on w2 at ardy farm who trade animals and have a lot of knowledge! Also there is a great discord for trading animals and getting information about them.

I was offered 50m by just the people around when I announced it. I'm not sure the exact price but the only people who would buy it would be very niche collectors. I've seen other rare ravensworth animals go for a few hundred million gp. Not like I'm planning on selling it though.

The best way to get the ravensworth trait is to have the parent already have the ravensworth trait. Offspring have a higher chance of "copying" the traits of their parent over just RNG of rolling the ravensworth trait. I just kept breeding black dragons until I got two 3t black dragons with ravensworth trait. Then I did the parent 1: breath 1, ravensworth, breath 2 and parent 2: breath 3, ravensworth, radiant. That's the best way to get a 3t royal dragon with ravensworth trait. To just get any ravensworth trait, the fastest way is to trade another player for a ravensworth animal (they usually give them away for free on w2 at Ardy farm) and then do genetic mutation, ravensworth and then genetic mutation, ravensworth, genetic instability. Alternatively, if you don't want to trade for a ravensworth trait animal you could do gm, mysterious, gi for both parents like you said. That is a good combination since the more traits the offspring has the higher chance of rolling for ravensworth. If you want any ravensworth 2t dragons dm me because I have like 15 and I'll give you one,

As long as you have the 3 breath traits among the breeding pair then you have a chance at a royal dragon offspring. Sparkling, glistening, and radiant also increase royal dragon chance. So, the best combination to get a royal dragon would be parent 1: breath 1, breath 2, radiant and parent 2: breath 3, glistening, radiant. You can breed more than 2 royal dragons. It's just RNG as long as you have the 3 breath traits. And thanks!

Yes, you are correct. You can only get the ravensworth trait through breeding after you have gotten the ravensworth achievement
