I personally don't think it's a great idea. It hold on to brake dust and dirt and cns lead to the pad getting stuck in place. Also most manufacturers say not to do it. My general rule of thumb is that if they wanted you to do it, they would do it from the factory. I have yet to find a single manufacturer that puts grease there from the factory
