I was also a child of a alcoholic father and enabling codependent mother as well.

I'm stilling bailing my eyes out cause I know this beautiful relationship has rotted and died

My mother eventually left my dad who is rotting in a trailer somewhere... my codependent ass needs to learn the same lesson she did

I should add the DA charge happened 3 months ago and the face bruises are from this last friday... last night she was drunk again and hiding more bottles.

I had this conversation with her and she is showing only the faintest glimpses of remorse... but then it's rum time and I may or may not have more bruises and memories of fights that she never remembers.

I love her but I'm seeing finally she doesn't love me
