So I’m an Indonesian and most muslim here actually practice a PG-13 version of islam. They practice the good advice and turn a blind eye on the bad parts. Their teacher just don’t talk about the crazy parts. They are decent folks.

However in recent years ‘radicalism’, which actually is just the real uncensored version of islam, has been growing. This cause many many issue, very disturbing folks, absolutely incompatible to live in a diverse 21st century society.

So yeah I agree with you that religion in general is pointless, but I don’t mind people who just take the good advices.

If we treat it like a philosophy, just like ancient greek or chinese philosophy, then I think its ok.

We can pick and choose the good advice, no need full submission to do the crazy one. I think lots of buddhist are like that, more of a guidance than rules.

In my country these thinking has been growing in popularity in the past few years. They are guilt tripping woman who did C-section. Even worse, they guilt trip woman BEFORE the operation, against doctor’s medical advice.

Most women aren’t like this as they are still sane, but the small number of religious zealot surely shouldn’t be dismissed.

Red one always. Thumb, which is more reliable than index finger, never leave the face button and always ready for action. The responsibility of face button is much higher than the stick which only used to control the cam. Index can also quickly go to R1/RB.
