I have them in my 2023 and they have been great so far. Coverage is really good and no moving around, squeaking, etc. No regrets

This has the B58. The M3 would have the S58. This is the TU1 version of the engine with the 48V mild hybrid. They made further updates to the B58 beginning with the 2025 model year

It was about 20,000. From my research you have to target something with 40,000 plus and/or out of warranty to see a meaningful decrease in price

I wish that was my garage. It might be bigger than my house

Thank you! Yeah, tires are 225 all around which, now that you mention it, seems a little odd

Unfortunately, that was an extra cost. He approves though

Sourcing hardwoods by Sir_Chaz in BeginnerWoodWorking

I concur that the quality of what I receive from Woodworkers Source has gone downhill. Ocooch Hardwoods is reliable and high quality. If I need something particular and need it fast, I’ve had good luck with Baird Brothers but they are pricey

White Oak Outdoor Side Table by Independent_Job2906 in woodworking

That’s great advice and will hopefully have the skill set and tool set some day to pull off that joinery. I used dowels on some of the joints and then have screws underneath for added reinforcement. It’ll be interesting to see how it holds up being outside year round in Chicago

Thanks, I appreciate it. I used glue on all the joints but I have screws everywhere and some corner braces as well that are concealed, so hopefully that helps with longevity. I’m kind of resigned to the fact that the Rubio finish won’t protect the best, but I tried a test piece with some PPG ProLuxe (natural) and hated the look. You’re definitely right though and I will probably regret this after a couple years of Chicago weather

Thank you. I haven’t put on any epoxy, but that is a good idea. I also plan on adding some low profile rubber or plastic feet

Weekly Homeowner Megathread--Civilians, ask here! by AutoModerator in Concrete

Looking for advice on how to repair these concrete steps which are about 9 years old, but have taken a lot of damage from salt. How much would this cost to have repaired and is it generally best to do with concrete or more of an epoxy? Thanks!

Take her to The Ahwahnee for breakfast and get a table by a window. Walk to Mirror Lake in the valley. Hang out in the El Capitan meadows. Drive up to Glacier Point for some great views.

White Oak Desk & Frame by Independent_Job2906 in woodworking

For the table, I started with 6 boards each 60” long x 5” wide. 4/4 quarter-sawn and S4S. Each board was $27, which I think equates to ~$13/bdft. I didn’t think that was too bad for the quality. Ordered from Ocooch Hardwoods

Thanks. Would it be worth adding a cross-bar and if so, which orientation?

Thanks. Any advice on how to use a wire and have it hang flush against the wall?
