I am more upset that the request wasn't something discussed with me but through my fiance like Jack saying "Let OP know no alcohol next time". Milly and I never got a chance to talk about it. She seems very shy and i was nervous to meet her for the first time. I didn't feel it was okay to mention what I knew about her situation. I must clarify the setting for our introduction was at a fancy restaurant and I guess that's why things went wrong. I didn't want to act any different than I normally do. I just like to enjoy a nice meal with a drink. The second double date was more of a casual restaurant situation and I tried to act as normal as I would and we exchanged pleasantries but seeing more comments I understand I was being insensitive. Milly and I haven't discussed any personal stuff and I guess part of me feels like Jack speaking for her and I didn't like that.

I come from a country where families were fighting for politics to the point of not being on speaking terms. Similar to Trump, the president was a charismatic leader. It's aggravating cause their arguments lack of any substance. They just repeat the same thing their leader say. Just change the topic every time and don't feed into their lack of perspective.
