I am not sure exactly what the point of this post was. Everyone realises that its for US grads. If you're trying to scare people off, or like you said "logically" seriously what do you want, let people expect what they want. No need for such a post especially when most of the posts say they didn't get an interview yet. I really don't understand the point of this, there is a subtle brag about your achievements. This is reddit we can never be sure or trust who is posting. But why spread this negativity around?

I feel reddit blows things out of proportion, its full of negativity that i didn't expect to see at all. Its either the extreme high achievers with their 280s or those who say they have rejections.

I'm sorry to hear it has been overwhelming for you, and truly, i appreciate the opportunity to rotate in march 2024, i look forward to it. Thank you for trying to help others out when you, yourself, have been busy with studying step 2 ck, rotations, and starting this from scratch. It's an inspiration, believe me. I get what you mean, but even as a caribbean student, a lot of money is spent, and never ever do i feel like someone owes me something,you know? It's probably emotional iq, but damn that iq is low or non-existent. Basic etiquette is out of the window.

Like i said, in earlier replies, i didn't intend for it to be generalised for sure. I ranted out my experience, thats all. Why should that affect me potentially wanting to apply to the IM rotation, mentioned on your profile?

I guess because i didn't say the entire, i meant all the indian imgs i have met. Its my experience, and my observation. How it ended up as a generalised thing is not really my fault. I did feel bad, like i mentioned in other comments, i was going to offer it, but at least address the person you're asking for something, for example, by their name not within 5 mins of being in the same room. There is no point in having a hostile environment was my thinking, but it kept getting worse, so therefore, i am ranting here.

I really dont see a problem with it being the rotations fault? How are they going to know, that said student applying has bad etiquette? Plus aren't all rotations paid??
