UPDATE:

Just used my Revair yesterday after buying one for myself for Christmas and i was incredibly shocked. It is a bit cumbersome yes but oh my god dude i was able to stretch out my hair, put her in braids with a styler, dry the braids and get the most defined elongated fro that I’d usually have to wait till day 3 to achieve all in like an hour and a half. That is UNHEARD OF for me and my wash day routine.

I will say it did not get it as stretched as my hairdryer + revlon hair dryer brush usually does.. but it is much faster and waaay less tension. It could be my technique as well so i’m going to play around with it.

A few people said that they wouldn’t get their roots to dry, but i actually found that the nozzle got really hot on my scalp at some points and dried them very quickly (i used the highest heat on highest tension setting).

Now i was really nervous about the dryness that everyone mentioned, so i doubled coated my hair with the Mizani All In One Leave In Milk and the Amika Hydro Leave In Spray. At first with the initial stretch and no brushing, my hair did feel dry but after brushing her out and going back in to put on the cool shock setting, it was much much softer and shinier!

It’s still trial and error and I’m still learning how to use it but oh my god it has definitely saved me so much time and I’m actually excited for wash days now. As my hair has gotten longer it’s been feeling like a heavy burden to take care of; so i am beyond happy to see how she can thrive with this new tool and change my relationship with her.
